A man attemps to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge only to find himself washed ashore on a tiny island. He’s trapped there
because he is afraid to swim and there isn’t a way out.
He learns to survive.
Meanwhile a girl is watching him from a distant building but she has issues of her own. Two castaways.

The movie started with a feeling of “where is this going???” But begins to become enjoyable as the characters make contact.

Netflix streaming recommendation – The Baader Meinhof Complex

I saw this movie a while ago. I figured I’d use a section of my site to create a “Netflix recommendation page.”

“The underlying message in this enticing teaser trailer for The Baader Meinhof Complex seems to be that young idealists who cross the chasm into full-blown terrorism are undeniably sexy. So, rest assured that many German critics feel the film doesn’t glorify sexy terrorism. Moreover, they have selected the movie for Best Foreign Film consideration in this year’s Oscar race.”

Awesome movie. The directing is phenomenal.
