I stopped at a super-mini flea market on the SW side of Houston. I saw this old chair in the back of a vendors area tucked away. The thing looked terrible and i remember a line of ants running close to it’s legs. I asked the lady “how much for the chair” and she replied “$25.00.” I noticed the “lowness” to it which I liked. The chair had ball claw feet. I left her area and thought about it as I kept shopping. When I came back to further inspect it she decided to change her price. “$50.00″ she said. Long story short I bought the chair and my wife thought I was crazy when I brought it home. “This chair has a nice style. Don’t worry.” We went through different fabric samples but at the end I decided to follow the stripe pattern.

I thought it all turned out great.
